San Clemente

The lifestyle that developer Ole Hanson envisioned when he founded San Clemente in 1929 was one of small town charm.

As seen in many activities such as it’s annual Ocean Festival in July and it’s popular Farmers’ Market held every weekend, this "Spanish Village By the Sea" has maintained much of what Mr. Hanson imagined.

Well known for it’s perfect weather conditions, it’s no wonder this city is most recognized for it’s beaches. San Clemente has one of the greatest assortment of surfing spots - for both experts and beginners- than anywhere in the world.

When dining in this popular beach city, you can chose from many options – such as a romantic sunset dinner on the pier, or enjoying a Mexican feast while shopping for antiques.

Being home to perfect weather, a multitude of recreating and entertainment, excellent schools and local businesses has made this city one of the fastest growing communities in South Orange County with the newer area of Talega to the east which is destined to build out even further North towards San Juan Capistrano with Vista Del Mar in the upcoming years.

San Clemente is comprised of different areas, to the North Coastal areas abates Capistrano Beach with Sea Pointe Estates a luxury home guard gated community of all custom homes which average 4000 to 5000 sqft. in size and known for sweeping views of the ocean and vistas.

In Central San Clemente above the downtown area are also magnificent luxury homes in the foothills with sit down unobstructed ocean views. Homes start about $900,000 for a small square foot beach cottage and go up from there with pristine oceanfront luxury homes and walk to the beach locations.

Further South of South West San Clemente are the gated luxury home communities of Cyprus Shore and Cyprus Cove with 24 hour guard gated entrance and custom luxury homes with an access to the beach and a beautiful park for the use of the community that resembles Carmel with it's sweeping pine trees.

South East San Clemente is home to San Clemente Municipal Golf Course where you can nosh on incredible edibles at "Irons Restaurant" a sister Restaurant of "Beach Fire" located in downtown San Clemente. Iron's is a great spot homeowners take their golf cart from home and have a wonderful dinner on the golf course which also has views of the ocean. Dana Point/Capistrano Beach

With it’s seven miles of breathtaking coastal bluffs and rolling hills along the Pacific Ocean, Dana Point is a spectacular place to live.

Home to Dana Point Harbor, where one can take trips to Catalina, go deep sea fishing, whale watch in the early part of the year or visit the nationally known Orange County Marine Institute - noted for its hands-on marine science, environmental education and maritime history programs.

Doheny State Beach is one of the many parks located in Dana Point. This 62 acre recreational area not only offers overnight camping, it also has picnicking, swimming, surfing, bicycling and tide pool exploration.

Dining out in this City by the Sea, is a memorable experience, with offerings such as the Chart House, perched high above the cliffs or the many local eateries situated on the harbor.

When you witness the countless visitors each year to it’s annual events such as the Festival of Whales, you can see why Dana Point is a much sought after place to live.

Just to the South end of Dana Point is Capistrano Beach which is where "Beach Road" Southern Californians premiere guard gated, luxury oceanfront homes are located. Few places in Southern California coastal areas have oceanfront homes on the sand, as does Beach Road. Similar to Malibu Colony is the closest description I can compare Beach Road in Capistrano Beach area of Dana Point.

To the North amidst the famed Ritz Carlton and St. Regis Hotels is the Monarch Beach area of Dana Point, which abates South Laguna Beach to it's North. Monarch Beach is synomonous with Luxury Coastal homes with guard gated oceanfront Ritz Cove and nearby Ritz Pointe. Bear Brand Ranch is another guard gated community of luxury custom and semi-custom large estate size homes just down the street from Ritz Pointe to the North

Tennis Villas across from St. Regis offer gated luxury Condos close to all and walking distance to the beach.

The "Headlands" project of a five start resort hotel and luxury homes and condos on the bluffs of Dana Point to the North of the Harbor and South of Ritz Carlton is slated to be finished in the upcoming year which will be a great addition to Dana Point's infrastructure and choice of luxury ocean view and ocean front homes.

Newport Coast

Newport Coast is one of coastal Orange Counties newer communities nestled in the hills along Pacific Coast Highway between Laguna Beach to it's South and Corona Del Mar to it's North.

The community most claims it's notoriety from the television show "The OC" where the opening can of the show is a sweeping view of "Crystal Cove" a guard gated community of Newport Coast. Crystal Cove is comprised of semi custom homes with a trail that takes you under Pacific Coast Highway to attain easy beach access. many use their golf carts to get down to the beach which is beautiful white sand and the famous Crystal Cove Cottages, now owned by the State Parks are still there and available for daily rental.

Newport Coast was developed in the 1980's and is about 9400 acres of beautiful landscapes, nature trails luxury home neighborhoods with panoramic views of coastal canyons to the Pacific Ocean. Home to Pelican Hills Golf Course about 75% of the land is dedicated to the golf course and open spaces.

Pelican Point is a luxury gate-guarded oceanfront community of Newport Coast and across Pacific Coast Highway off Newport Coast Drive is the guard gated community of Pelican Crest with large square footage luxury custom ocean view homes.

Below Crystal Cove is the shopping center which hosts Trader Joe's , Maestro's Ocean Ranch for fine dining, Javiers, for margarita's and gourmet Mexican fare and I want to surprise you, by not mentioning the rest of the list right now, so you can experience the unique area of Newport Coast yourself.

San Juan Capistrano

San Juan Capistrano is located between Dana Point and San Clemente just a bit to the East and only a several minute drive to beaches and Dana Point Harbor.

The "Mission" in Old Downtown San Juan Capistrano is historic and there are many great shops and dining offered including the famous "Swallows Inn Bar" located in the heart of downtown SJC. This was the location Clint Eastwood shot his famous bar scenes in film "Heartbreak Ridge".

San Juan Capistrano is one of the few South Coastal Orange County areas, which has luxury equestrian communities such as 'The Hunt Club" and "Juliana Farms" which are both gated communities. Yet just a few minutes to the beach and coastal breezes. Blenhiem Equestrian Center is also located in San Juan Capistrano. There are also many horse boarding and training facilities available in San Juan Capistrano. It is located near the mouth of Ortega Highway which leads to Lake Elsinore after a twenty mile or so drive on winding road, to access Riverside County.

Marbella Golf and Country Club offers a guard-gated community with an eighteen hole golf course and club house facility. Marbella offers luxury townhomes as well as luxury estate homes. Did I mention the great restaurant in the Marbella Club House, which is a wonderful amenity to what the area offers.

To the South border of San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente and Dana Point, is a wonderful ocean view and guard-gated community called "Connemara By The Sea" with large square footage custom estate homes. Just to the East of Connemara are also "Hidden Mountain Estates" which are gated and nestled in the foothills above San Juan Capistrano.

Heading West there are many large square footage custom luxury estates known as "PepperTree Bend". Many of the homes offer ocean views and tucked away privately on a hill overlooking the San Juan Capistrano valley, on 1-4 acre lots.
